Yeah, yeah, took me long enough....

3 c Bisquik ( I use the heart healthy kind) (also, I don't notice a difference with the store brand)
1 lb grated Cheddar cheese (mild, sharp, Colby Jack, Cheddar Jack, Mexican 4 cheese blend, whatever)
1 lb sausage (I prefer maple)

Place sausage, cheese, and Bisquik (in that order) in large bowl and leave at room temperature for 30 minutes. Preheat oven to 350. Mix well. Roll into small balls and bake for 20 minutes. Makes 4-5 dozen.

This sounds like awesome breakfast bite food. I need stuff I can eat while driving. This might do it. Thanks!

I usually make them for dinner, and they're great the next day, either cold or zapped. Hardly greasy at all.
